Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center held a performance sharing meeting on the 8th after completing the promotion of the 2023 Youth Startup Challenge Project.
The event was held as part of the "2023 Incheon Startup Week, SURF", the Incheon Startup Festival, and was designed to share the achievements of the seven companies participating in the project and to share their future plans. In addition, awards were given to companies participating in the project.
At the performance-sharing ceremony, the grand prize went to Shelfia (CEO Choi Soo-bin), who develops eco-friendly snow removal agents for oyster shell waste. The grand prize was awarded to JNJ Tech (CEO Cho Sung-hoon), who developed a drug recognition and inventory management solution, and the excellence prize to Robigos (CEO Kim Tae-yong), a provider of data analysis and optimal artificial intelligence solutions. Lidify (CEO Park Dong-woo), Renewers Lab (CEO Lee Jae-yong), 302 Lab (CEO Yeom Ye-chan), and today's workshop (CEO Kim Na-hye) won the Encouragement Award.
Companies that participated in this project are not only registered as child care companies at the Incheon Center, but are also eligible to move into the start-up space in the center. In addition, they will receive follow-up support in connection with programs being promoted by the Incheon Center, such as support for investment attraction.
We will actively introduce various programs in the future for the growth of promising young entrepreneurs in Incheon with excellent items, said a business manager at the Incheon Center.
Meanwhile, the youth start-up challenge project has been promoted by Incheon City and Incheon Center since 2018 and aims to discover and foster excellent youth entrepreneurs in the Incheon area. It provides programs such as start-up education and mentoring to selected companies, and also supports commercialization funds.
