'YakManager' JNJ Tech Selected IBK Changgong Innovation Company

JNJ Tech (CEO Cho Sung-hoon), which developed an integrated drug identification/counting and inventory management solution using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, announced on the 10th that it was selected as the 11th innovative start-up company of IBK Changgong Busan, a startup development program of IBK Industrial Bank.

IBK Changgong is an accelerating program of IBK Industrial Bank that discovers and fosters promising startups. Participating companies receive a variety of support such as investment and loans, education, consulting, and market development necessary for corporate growth.

JNJ Tech is a venture startup that developed the "Pharmaceutical Manager" app in March 2023, focusing on automating drug management and improving work efficiency for pharmacies and pharmacists.

The "Pharmaceutical Manager App" was developed using AI object recognition technology to solve the difficulties of pharmacists in managing drug inventory in the field. The app provides drug counting, returns, and inventory management services, and has achieved the results of securing more than 10,000 customers within three months of its launch.

In particular, the 'drug manager' uses artificial intelligence technology to improve drug management inefficiency and provide convenience so that pharmacists and workers can focus on patient disease and health counseling. Through this, it aims to contribute to improving public health.

JNJ Tech was recently selected for the TIPS R&D program in September 2023. In addition, it has achieved a variety of achievements, including the 13th term of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund Startup Nest, the 2023 Youth Startup Challenge, Incheon Rising Star, the 2023 Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center investment, the 2023 Startup Pathfinder, the 2023 Incheon City Public Data Contest, the 2023 Youth Startup Challenge Performance Sharing Association 'Best Award'.
