Pharmacy management app "Pharmaceutical Manager" has recently set up a community communication channel called "Sharing Defective Drug Information" in the app in relation to "defective and damaged drugs," which have become a hot issue in the pharmaceutical industry.
If you access the bulletin board, you can freely register the name and content of the drug, and you can also upload photos and write comments. When you find defective drugs during preparation at pharmacies, you can easily report them and share them with users in real time.
According to the drug manager, a series of cases of defective drugs such as Xpose tablet, Cordiopancreatic tablet, and Tegretol sial tablet have been found in the app this year. Recently, Novartis Pharmaceutical Korea was filed with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for a large number of cases of defective drugs and insufficient response.
The drug manager said, "We hope that 'finding and reporting defective and damaged drugs' will serve as an opportunity for safer drugs to be distributed."
