Pharmacy management application "Pharmaceutical Manager" was selected as "2024 Representative Cases of Public Data Use - Medical Products" in the "Food Safety Country Public Data Use Casebook".
The "Public Data Utilization Casebook," which includes drug managers, is published annually by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the Korea Food Safety Information Service, and contains the current status of the use of public data and best practices in the "Food Safety Country." Through this, it introduces how public data is used and how to search and use it in various services and platforms.
Drug Manager is a service launched in March 2023 to increase work efficiency and manage pharmacists and pharmacies, providing various functions such as drug counting, drug ordering, and writing a drug inspection department to support the convenience of pharmacy operation. It currently has 40,000 subscribers.
In July, the drug manager was selected as a use case in the 'health care' field in the public data portal. The public data portal (www.data.go.kr ) is Korea's official e-government platform that provides integrated data managed by public institutions.
Drug managers include essential functions for pharmacy operations, such as drug coefficients, integrated drug search, inventory and return management, and pharmacist communities, and use artificial intelligence technology to address the inefficiency of drug management. Through this, it aims to help pharmacists focus more on patient disease and health counseling, and to contribute to the promotion of public health.
CEO Cho Sung-hoon of J&J Tech, who developed the drug manager, said, "We thank everyone who loves the drug manager, and we will develop it into an essential service for pharmacies in the future."
Meanwhile, J&J Tech is a graduate of IBK Changgong (創工) Busan 11th", a platform for fostering IBK Industrial Bank's start-up, and is supported by Series Ventures.
